Rush Begins a New Era with Drummer Anika Nilles

~~For the first time since the passing of legendary drummer and lyricist Neil Peart in 2020, legendary Canadian progressive rock band Rush has entered a new chapter. Founding members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have returned to the stage with acclaimed German drummer Anika Nilles, launching the band's long-awaited Fifty Something Tour.~~

Widely regarded as one of rock's greatest drummers, Peart's technical brilliance, songwriting, and influence helped define Rush for more than four decades. Rather than searching for someone to imitate his every move, Lee and Lifeson chose a musician who could honor the music while bringing her own artistry to the band's live performances.~~
