• Drake Drops Three Surprise Albums: Following massive anticipation, Drake released Iceman, along with two unannounced LPs, Habibti and Maid of Honour, featuring a total of 43 tracks across almost two and a half hours.

• Shakira Wins Tax Dispute: Shakira secured a major legal victory against Spain's Tax Agency, with the National High Court ruling in her favor and ordering a €64 million refund. The court determined there was no proof she met the 183-day residency threshold to be taxed as a Spanish resident in 2011.
